8 th Annual Sports Day Celebration @ NBIS

Nava Bharath International School, best cbse schools in coimbatore is the first ever School in the Western Tamilnadu to celebrate 8th Annual Sports Day after pandemic era.

Success of Online classes supported by Parents in providing smart phones in  both years 200-21 and 2021-22 gave a natural inclination to both  School and Parents to provide the Joy of Sporting Events after long period of pandemic.

All the students took part in the sporting events throughout the sports week  from March 6,2022 to March 12,2022.

There was a great Joy to see the children back in action with great enthusiasm.

The  most awaited event of the year, 8th Annual Sports Meet thus celebrated on 12th March 2022.

The children exhibited the spirit of sportsmanship,team spirit , coordination through their grand display of spectacular sporting actions.

This Special Day was embraced by the Chief guest Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Commandant, CTC, CRPF, The Chairman, Mr. Selvaraj, The Secretary Mr. Nanthakumar and all the trustees. 

The grand event started of with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The programme began with the welcome speech of the Principal Mr. Samson welcoming the Chief guest and the esteemed gathering and emphasised on the importance of sports in a child's life.

The chief guest, Mr. Rajesh Kumar took the salute of the impressive March Past of the four houses, coupled with the stirring marching music by the band.

The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with torch relay followed by oath taking being administered by the Sports captain. 

An energizing display of the juniors set the tone for the rest of the event. The students displayed a Naatya Yoga display mesmerising the audience with their graceful performances. The house display with four different themes was the highlight of the event. The audience enjoyed the Aerobic display thoroughly.

Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes.

Students of classes 3 to 12 competed in events including 50m, 100m & 200m dash, relays, etc. 

Winners were awarded certificates and medals at the end of the fest. 

It turned out to be a memorable day for both Children and Parents as they would continue to cherish the feat of the Children for a long time
